A day at the Lake with Seniors Out & Proud Utah
Seniors Out & Proud Utah has reserved the Pratt Pavilion at East Canyon Reservoir for a Day at the Lake on Saturday, July 9 from 11am to 5pm.
Bring your paddle boards, water toys, kayaks, float tubes, canoes, etc. They will have many “land” based games and activities as well.
This will be a potluck event and the organization will provide hot dogs and buns (vegetarian available).
Based on the direction your front door faces, bring
North – Salad, veggies, or fruit
East – Chips, crackers, or dessert
South – Side Dish (baked beans, deviled eggs, stuffed mushrooms, etc.)
West – Water or soda (12 packs)
This is a free event to attend, but there is a per car fee that is collected to enter the state park. It is $12.50 for those 62 years + (must ask for the senior rate) and $25 for all others, covering up to 8 people per vehicle, carpooling is encouraged.
