HalloQueen Ball returns to Salt Lake Masonic Temple for Halloween
The Utah Pride Center will host its annual HalloQueen Ball on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Salt Lake Masonic Temple, 650 E. South Temple.
The 21-and-over Halloween fundraiser will feature multiple floors of entertainment, live DJs, drag-hosted bingo, food and beverages, and a costume contest offering a $1,500 grand prize across eight categories.
Tickets are $31 for general admission and $100 for VIP, which includes four drink tickets, access to a VIP lounge with a dedicated bar and hors d’oeuvres, priority entry through security and check-in, and expedited access to bars throughout the venue.
Proceeds benefit the Utah Pride Center’s year-round programs, services, and community events.
“HalloQueen Ball gives our community a chance to come together, celebrate Halloween in true queer fashion, and support the Utah Pride Center at the same time,” said Chad Call, the center’s executive director.
Attendees can extend the celebration into a weekend getaway, with discounted room rates available at Hilton Salt Lake City for Oct. 30-31 and Kimpton Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City for Oct. 31-Nov. 1.
Last year’s revival of the Ball was a huge success, drawing a great crowd and fantastic costumes.
The HalloQueen Ball is part of Utah Pride Center‘s broader slate of programming, which also includes the annual Utah Pride Rally, March, Festival and Parade — the state’s largest LGBTQIA+ celebration. More information is available at utahpride.org and utahpridecenter.org.
